Denver Prep Academy is excited to be one of the fastest-growing athletic powerhouses in the country, with an elite basketball team that attracts the best of the best. DPA is the perfect place for talented athletes to reach the next level. While we have started with basketball please see below of our plans to expand our athletic offerings.

One of the reasons behind the effectiveness of our program is our holistic approach to athletics. At DPA, we help student-athletes with proper nutrition, responsible strength and endurance training, and individual development. Through this and the guidance of knowledgeable coaches and trainers, our student-athletes are inspired to achieve greatness.

Our Elite Basketball Program

At DPA, basketball is always taken seriously. Student-athletes work under coaches who train them at elite levels. From the fundamentals to advanced techniques, from how to be a leader on the court to being the best possible teammate, our staff ensures that players have every opportunity to learn, grow, and become driven experts.

Denver Prep Academy currently offers two men’s basketball programs: The National Elite Team and the Post-Grad Elite Team.

Men’s National Elite Team

When students join the Denver Prep Academy Team, they aren’t just joining a private high school team. They’re joining an institution dedicated to the development of world-class players. At DPA, we develop athletes who not merely play the game—they understand it at a deeper level.

The players at our Colorado preparatory academy put this training to good use in the Grind Session, an elite winter circuit of other top preparatory schools. The DPA team will test their mettle against these talented teams from around the United States and Canada.

Men’s Post-Grad Elite Team

Finding the right college and getting the best offer is vital to any student-athlete. The Post-Grad Elite Team Program at DPA is a one-year, post-high school program that empowers players to continue training, competing, and becoming the absolute best players they can be.

Through our training regimens and games played in the West Coast Prep Scholastic Conference—a recruiting hub for colleges—our student-athletes can become the type of players colleges love.

Upcoming Programs

Denver Prep Academy won’t just offer basketball. We’re working hard to build an elite athletic academy that specializes in numerous sports. In the future, we will be offering: boys’ and girls’ golf, skiing, snowboarding, girls’ volleyball, and even eSports.

We will be approaching each of these sports with the same principles of whole-student development, experienced coaching, intensive conditioning, proper nutrition, and cutting-edge techniques. As a result, every student-athlete in our programs has every opportunity to develop to their fullest potential.

Boys and Girls Basketball Academy 2022-2023

For the upcoming 2022-2023 school year DPA will be opening up an elite basketball academy for grades 8-12. We have reserved 25 spots for males and 25 spots for female athletes. Students enrolled in the basketball school academy will partake in individualized sport specific training, specialized sport performance training and partake in our core academic classes as well. For those students seeking a more rigorous class offerings, college classes will be offered and available through University of Colorado Denver. Students enrolled in DPA’s basketball academy will train and prepare at a high level daily and still be eligible to play at their home school or the school they have established their athletic eligibility. Baseball Academy Coming Soon SY 2022-2023

We are still in the planning process of the Baseball Academy and we hope to unveil the timeline and specific detailed information soon. We hope to have the elite baseball academy open for 2022-2023 school year. DPA will be opening up an elite baseball training academy for grades 8-12. We have currently reserved 25 spots for the academy.
